You may have heard that it takes 21 repetitions to form a habit .  And according to Malcom Gladwell, it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert. But according to Matt Cutts, it takes about 30 days to evalutate something new. 

In this short TED talk, Cutts shares the surprising results of several 30-day trials.  Between biking, quitting sugar, writing a novel and taking up hiking, which new habit would you guess, did not stick?
